SPA101 Elementary Spanish I 4 Credits

Basic grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary of the Spanish language. Includes the study of the Spanish-speaking cultures. Practice of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Prerequisites: None.

SPA201 Intermediate Spanish I 4 Credits

Continued study of essential Spanish grammar and Spanish-speaking cultures. Continued practice and development of reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish. Emphasis on fluency and accuracy in spoken Spanish.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in SPA102, or SPA111, or permission of Department or Division. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required.
